A Magical Music Experience
The Mixtape Vibe is a collection of independent Atlanta musical artists. This event is a “songwriter’s in the round” that will feature the original songs, stories, and camaraderie of 4 excellent artists with their own unique voice and style, sharing the stage together: listen to their real and raw stories of inspiration, love and passion for music.
Michael R Magno, (or Magno as he’s known to friends & fans) is a performing singer-songwriter based in Atlanta. A multi-instrumentalist with a voice like velvet, Magno has a spirited way of engaging audiences in disarming fashion. He vibes like a classic mixtape: crafting honest lyrics of love and hope with tempos and color chords swirling into a sultry mix. Magno’s songs aim for the heart of music lovers and his live shows become a social mixer, where audiences arrive as strangers and leave as friends.
Elaina Trent is an Atlanta based singer-songwriter. She writes about experiences that are often difficult to put into words, but can be captured by a melody and ultimately a song. She is also a part of an acoustic duo, EK Acoustic, that performs around the city. Elaina’s works are inspired by artists such as Sara Bareilles, Norah Jones, Eloise, and Lianne La Havas.
Mitchell Phillips, a 21-year-old folk-pop artist from Atlanta, GA, brings catchy melodies and heavy lyrics together to create songs that leave a mark. Mitchell started writing songs in high school and began writing with the intention of releasing at the end of 2020. He recorded and released his first single “Take Away” from his college dorm in Dahlonega, GA and from there decided to pursue music as a career. Since then he has released a handful of singles including his most recent single Crazy. Mitchell’s plan for 2023 is to release his debut album in the summer and continue to build his audience.
Rich Gunderlock’s dad took him to the U2 Achtung Baby tour at the Philadelphia Spectrum back in 1992, and it lit a fire for music that continues to burn in his life today. Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of popular music — everything from Motown to Nirvana — Rich grew up sharpening considerable talents on saxophone, guitar, and piano; earning 3 degrees in music, playing in multiple bands and publishing countless songs. Originally a Pennsylvania native, Rich moved to Atlanta in 2001 and has established himself in the local scene (and subsequently discovered a love for country music as well). He has a knack for choosing and arranging the songs that you just want to sing along to, mashed up in unexpected ways, with saxophone solos that make him stand out among solo artists.
