In 2002, he released his first single “Holding Out For You” and in 2006 was named by 11th Hour magazine as their Male Vocalist of the year. In 2012 he was diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Disease (forcing his retirement from the military), and would receive a transplant with a kidney donated by his sister in 2016. After a long and difficult recovery, he expanded his performing career into acting. In 2017, he appeared in the feature films “15:17 To Paris” and “The Front Runner”, as well as the TV series “Valor”, “Snapped”, and “Murder Comes to Town”
