Rootstock, featuring Vintners Rooftop is primarily a Wine and Bourbon bar, located in the lively Downtown District of Woodstock Ga. The venue offers a full bar with focus on wine from family owned, mostly organic vineyards. Rootstock hosts a modern kitchen, allowing them to offer gourmet food, including Tapas, Salad, Soup, Dessert and Charcuterie.

The building site is at the corner of Main Street and Towne Lake Parkway in the heart of Downtown Woodstock. This iconic corner originally housed the Woodstock Post office in the early 1900s. The main level dining room/bar has a modern industrial décor. Rustic brick walls adorn the interior and soft, warm lighting creates an inviting atmosphere. Recent renovations include designing a climate controlled wine cellar, holding our vintage and reserve bottles of low production wine. Additionally, a 2nd level entertainment space was erected, creating Vintners Rooftop. This brilliant design offers spectacular 360’ views of the city. The sunsets are magical and Vintners Rooftop is rapidly becoming a favorite hotspot for many guests. Reservations for Rooftop seating can now be made by phone or special request on open table

Rootstock strives to present wine lists with a distinct point of view and educate you as you sip, offering you an experience that is unique to the Woodstock and surrounding area.  Our onsite Wine Director/Sommelier is highly skilled and enthusiastic to share his love for the product we offer. This includes a retail section of wine to take home with you.  Our world class bourbons are hand selected and resemble the same level of quality as our wine selection. The management and staff promise to provide you with excellent service, a quality product and a relaxing environment.

“Vintners Rooftop” is accessed from inside Rootstock’s main level, the energetic vibe and ambience on the upper level offers a more casual dining experience. Live Jazz or acoustic music and the playful dance of the café lighting will soothe your soul. Patio heaters will help keep you warm on the cooler fall evenings, practically allowing you to enjoy the rooftop year-round. For the safety of all our guests and the pedestrians below, glass stems are prohibited upstairs. To insure the best possible experience, we are invested in a safe, yet effective product to serve our fine wines and cocktails. Polycarbonate glass by GoVino will not affect the taste or texture of your beverage. Be sure to visit the wine stave wall specifically created for you to be a part of the dream!
