Spend Valentine’s Day with Rootstock and Vine

At Rootstock and Vine, we’re proud to bring unique entertainment opportunities to Downtown Woodstock. (We’re not in one of the top 50 places to live for nothing!) There’s a strong sense of community here, and more and more often, people are choosing to spend time on Woodstock’s Main Street instead of traveling to other suburbs or even into Atlanta.

With this in mind, this Valentine’s Day, we wanted to create a new twist on an old favorite: spend the evening with us and practice your best sleuthing skills at our Wine, Dine and Crime dinner theater event! We’ve partnered with the ultra-talented team of Elm Street Cultural Arts to bring an amazing evening of wine, delicious food, and crime-filled fun.

The Event: Wine, Dine and Crime

Unique, original, and hilarious, our Wine, Dine and Crime dinner theater event will take place on Thursday, the 14th and start promptly at 6:00pm. Here’s our Show synopsis:

As part of her national tour, famous 40’s lounge singer, Ella Holiday visits Downtown Woodstock’s Rootstock & Vine, but word on the street is that someone has got it out for her! Will you catch the culprit before they sneak out the door?

Our Executive Chef Todd Webster has been working hard on a perfectly paired theme dinner, with dishes that everyone is sure to enjoy! And of course, we’ll have plenty of wine (or other cocktails, if you prefer) to pair with each course, making it true night of wine, delicious dining and crime.

More show information:

We ask all dinner guests to please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Dress is dinner casual (coat and tie not required). Parking at the City Center lot is recommended.

Local Partnerships: More About Elm Street Cultural Arts

We are so thankful to be able to create this event in partnership with Elm Street Cultural Arts. Elm Street provides performing arts productions, classes and camps to and with the surrounding community. The organization was formed to provide not only theatrical arts but visual arts, music, dance, and culinary arts. To accomplish their goal, Elm Street and the City of Woodstock collaborated on acquiring a 4-acre property and green space to grow this vision.

Since then, the theatre has expanded to attract the Greater Northern Atlanta area with professional and semi-professional talent as well as receiving 9 Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Awards. They continue to engage audiences by presenting diverse seasons with cultural and entertaining productions.

For us, community partnerships are vital to the continued growth of the area—and we’re proud to have Elm Street quite literally in our backyard!

We’re very much looking forward to hosting everyone at our special Valentine’s Day event! We’re certain that it’ll be a hit–if you’re interested in spending the evening of love with a twist, grab your tickets early!
