It’s not a secret any longer: Woodstock, Georgia is the best place for live music and now, Rootstock & Vine is becoming the best place to take that music in.
Woodstock’s downtown entertainment district comes to life every evening and it’s for more than just flowing taps and fantastic restaurants. There’s music to be discovered and enjoyed everywhere you go in Woodstock. Summertime is an especially good season for Woodstock’s music scene, as outdoor locations sprout up all over Main Street, perfect for the warm, breezy nights downtown.
Have Your Nightly Music Curated
With so many choices in top-level musical talent, it can be hard to decide how you want to spend your evening and which artist you want to see. That’s why it’s nice to rely on a place like Rootstock & Vine. You can have a delicious food, some expertly crafted cocktails or organic wine and the knowledge that our musical curation means any artist you see there will be a favorite for years to come.
Rootstock’s Listening Room Series
Our Listening Room Series runs September through March and is an intimate “listening room” setting where musicians are able to showcase their talent through storytelling and performances of their original and cover music. In this series, guests can hear about how the musicians discovered their love for music, what inspires their songwriting and how they strive to become extraordinary in a competitive and challenging industry.
Everything is Alright Up on ‘The Rooftop’
Weather-permitting (Because this is Georgia, after all), Rootstock & Vine hosts its musical guests upstairs at “The Rooftop.” Any evening spent under the stars listening to live music is an evening well-spent and artists come from all over to perform there. Previous guests of “The Rooftop” have included Grace Milton, Michael Zaib, Surrender Hill, Brooke Serrano, Paul Childers, Carter Horne, Justin Monday and Cotter Hill. Rootstock & Vine is the place to see artists right before they break out on The Voice or to watch a visiting Nashville star-on-the-rise hone their craft. In the event that rain does impede an artist’s ability to play on the rooftop, we’re always able to relocate the show indoors on our main level.
The summer is going to be sizzling-hot and the musical action will be up on our rooftop. Catch musicians as they tear through a night on their tour, or discover local artists trying out their sets. Dancing will be required as the Cuban Jazz Band lights up your summer with exotic musical sounds at our Latin and Fine nights. If you weren’t part of the crowd last year, you need to see what you missed! Latin and Fine is every third Thursday through October.
Rootstock is dedicated to offering a place for musicians to be seen and heard. We connect talented artists with appreciative audiences and this summer will be no exception. In fact, we’re pleased to have our Listening Room Series and rooftop live music featured in a recent article by Atlanta Magazine!
Come see what all the excitement is about and take in live music on “The Rooftop” at Rootstock & Vine!
