Exciting wine dinner with the winemaker, Bill Holloran!
Holloran vineyards are farmed using sustainable farming practices, including organic and biodynamic disciplines. They carefully manage crop loads to ensure optimal ripening. They believe that the character and excellence of our bottled wines is directly influenced by our sustainable farming, including organic and biodynamic practices. Holloran is fortunate to farm and harvest grapes from their own premium vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Each site possesses unique characteristics that influence the style, tastes and aromas in the wine.
The evening includes a 5 course pairing dinner to feature;
2016 Holloran Riesling Dundee Hills (dry – salads with
fruit/nuts, shellfish, handles spicy flavors well)
– 2017 Stafford Hill Sauvignon Blanc (ripe flavors, nice acid –
also great with shellfish, salads)
– 2016 Stafford Hill PN (lovely, great with chicken, pork,
mushrooms)
– 2014 Holloran PN Willamette Valley (longer finish, handles
slightly richer dishes)
– 2012 Holloran Pinot Noir Le Pavillon (old vines)
