Get ready to dance, dine and enjoy dinner with Rootstock and Vine as we ring in the New Year, Gatsby-style!
We’re looking forward to providing the perfect place for people to celebrate and enjoy a night out on the town without having to venture too far from their neighborhood. This year is sure to be the talk of Woodstock–between the rustic brick walls, we’re transforming Rootstock and Vine to the beautiful parties held in West Egg at Jay Gatsby’s mansion.
If you’re looking for a way to spend New Year’s Eve, here are three top reasons to spend it with your family at Rootstock and Vine:
Our Food – Our menu has developed a reputation as one of the best places to get a bite to eat in downtown Woodstock! Our Executive Chef A.J. Jones has continuously carried out our mission to offer adventurous (hello, November’s exotic wine pairing dinner!) and satisfying tapas and entree dishes, guaranteed to quell appetites of all sizes.
Our New Year’s Eve menu won’t disappoint, either. Guests who join us for the wine pairing dinner can look forward to dishes like Baked Brie Bread Pudding, Lobster and Shrimp Risotto, or Roasted Chicken Breast with Eggplant Caponata.
Plus, really feel like Gatsby during our pre-dinner cocktail hour, which will include pre-dinner drinks and a charcuterie buffet, featuring delicious meats, cheeses and other delicacies.
Our Extensive Drink Options – Wine, Bourbon, and Cocktails! We’re firm believers that there’s much to explore when it comes to wine and bourbon. We study the backstory of how the products come to life, from tasting and exposure to new flavors, to learning about varietals and regions where products are made. And as many of our guests have come to know, we love pairing these beverages with food and sharing the experience with friends and guests.
Our Ambience – Who doesn’t love to dress up on one of the fun evenings of the year? New Year’s Eve is one of the best holidays for glitz, glamour, and if you ask us, a little Gatsby. This year, we’re asking guests to dress in their favorite Gatsby attire–complete with the mask! Of course, dressing up is optional, but much more fun, especially if you’re celebrating with a group. Our team will be dressed to impress, and you might even have to guess who’s who!
Plus, from 10:30pm to 1:30am, we’ll have the music from DJ OOF providing tunes that are sure to get you in the spirit of taking “a cup of kindness, my dear,” as the clock strikes midnight. (Fun fact: The tradition of singing Auld Lang Syne at New Year’s Eve began in Scotland, where the Hogmanay celebration would be marked by the singing of the song while singers join hands to form a large circle.) We’ll have a champagne toast at midnight, no singing necessary!
Your mind’s made up–you’re convinced that spending New Year’s Eve with our Gatsby-themed Roaring 20’s party is the place to be! Grab your ticket and join us as we ring in 2020!
